Our Story

The newest venture from veteran chef duo Nicco Santos and Quenee Vilar, in partnership with Divina Law founder and Managing Partner Atty. Nilo Divina, Aurora is a spirited bistro that pays homage to robust Asian flavors and heartwarming homestyle classics.

“Aurora is named after my mother, whose homecooked meals brought everyone together.” shares Divina. “This is my first foray into F&B, and I hope to bring lots of care and attention to detail to this restaurant to honor her. As a lawyer, there’s also a level of perfection and excellence in execution that I always strive for.”

“We are committed to leading this project with sustainability, creativity, and empowerment at the center of everything. It is about achieving success beyond success measured in flourishing human lives. Everything we consider valuable in life and business revolves around people” says Nicco. Quenee adds, “We want to create a space for opportunity and a safe environment for our team to work and thrive.”

Find us in the corporate facade of Makati City’s Pacific Star Building–there’s an upbeat dining floor, an outdoor patio accented with lush greenery, a full wall display of wine, a private dining room, and a bar. We designed each spot to fit the bill for fashionable hangouts with friends, corporate catch-ups, or romantic dates–and we’re excited to welcome you into our space.

Our menu showcases modern variations of classically-rooted, regional Asian cooking guided by our chefs’ Asian-leaning backgrounds, and draws inspiration from nostalgic memories of meals made at home. What is special to note is that the menu was also designed to bring out the talent and personality of their team members.

“Chef Roy, who's been with us for years, specializes in slow cooking. You’ll see a lot of that on our menu. Our pastry chef Danilo is inspired by nostalgia-driven desserts, and our head mixologist Jomer is passionate about flavor-forward infusions in his cocktails,” says Nicco. “We always challenge ourselves with this question: How can we redefine success and measure it by the way we touch, move, and inspire our team members?”
